Book Review: “The Real Anthony Fauci” (Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.), Skyhorse 2021, 450 pg.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated books of 2021, Robert F. Kennedy’s “The Real Anthony Fauci” transcends the genre of current affairs to become an eloquent meticulously-documented chronicle of the dark machinations of a Biomedical-Military-Media-Academic-Industrial-Intelligence-Complex. RFK, Jr. has pulled off in a year a level of scholarship that for many writers comes only after a career of research. Perhaps no other book this Christmas season will enlighten friends and relatives about the way America’s institutions really work — allowing crony demagogues to thrive. This book is destined to become a classic — the question is whether bookstores should stock it in the “horror,” “thriller,” or “true crime” section.

As the cover says, “Pharma-funded mainstream media has convinced millions of American that Dr. Anthony Fauci is a hero. He is anything but.” RFK Jr’s book is not really about “Teflon Tony” as a psychopathic villain, but the author weaves a bloviating monster as a common thread in a tapestry of villainous institutions backed by propaganda media. Readers can skip the first chapter about Corona because it is really the culmination of cycles of greed and deception going back a century. Once these patterns of abuse are understood, it becomes easier to decipher the Corona propaganda-matrix and Fauci’s cult of personality.

Perhaps the best parts of the book are the highly-detailed and personal stories about people who found themselves caught up in Fauci’s crotcheted web. In chapter 8, readers encounter the saga of Dr. Jonathan Fishbein, hired by Fauci as an ethics and compliance officer to ensure integrity in Fauci’s AIDS drug trials. Fishbein did not realize his job was a sham: Fauci’s entire multibillion dollar operation targeting vulnerable communities was an unsafe drug approval mill getting dangerous, ineffective, and expensive products to market in which Fauci earned a cut — supposedly donated to some unnamed charity. When an African American mother from Tennessee named Joyce Ann Hafford died of liver failure from one of Fauci’s toxic drugs, Fauci’s henchman sent Fishbein a curt e-mail, “ouch, not much wwe [sic] can do about dumd [sic] docs!” The glib response served as a subtle signal to Fishbein he should get with the program about Fauci’s cover up of dangerous drug toxicities and false promises. Fauci’s institution lied to Hafford’s family following a long tradition of African American human guinea pigs, and Fishbein’s career went the way of many government whistleblowers.

Although the book touches on “beaglegate” far worse are the experiments funded by Fauci on black and Hispanic children at a Spanish Harlem orphanage — covered up by the New York Times. The kids were taken away from their parents who had refused to give them AIDS drugs — but in many cases the kids were not even HIV positive. These were poor families with no capacity to fight the system and keep their children. In phase 1 toxicity trials, if children would refuse or throw-up the drugs, the orphanage would drill a hole in the children’s stomachs so the drugs would be delivered directly to the intestine. In one case, a father had come out of prison looking for his son. He was told his son had “died of AIDS” and the “records were lost in a fire.” RFK Jr. describes a mass grave of tiny coffins stacked haphazardly under an astroturf tarp in Hawthorne, New York. None of the babies had a federally-required rights advocate. We learn the children’s names in the description of the nurses who pumped in the experimental drugs on the orders of Fauci’s Lab-Coated cronies: “Mimi was just this normal girl, singing, jumping, playing. Then, poof, stroked out. Blind. We were freaked out. Then, in a few months, she was gone -dead.”

RFK Jr. is in a special position to discuss the intelligence agencies, their relationship with media propaganda, and their abuses of power. USAID Director Rajiv Shah, previously had a decade of work with the Gates Foundation-funded GAVI Vaccine Alliance, turns out to be a lifelong CIA asset. RFK, Jr. makes it plain that the Gates Foundation is a “proprietary” of the intelligence community. Even I was shocked to learn that the Gates Foundation is a major funder of mainstream corporate media — dispensing at least $250 million in grants to NPR, The Guardian, BBC, The Atlantic, ProPublica, the New York Times, etc. No wonder those outlets misrepresent the Gate’s Foundation’s programs as “charitable.” RFK, Jr. makes the plausible case that many vaccination, development, and “public health” programs operated by both Gates and the US State Dept. are really about population reduction, the projection of neocolonial power, and population control. GAVI presided over covert mass sterilization campaigns in Kenya and the Philippines disguised as tetanus vaccination campaigns. RFK Jr. shows this is not conspiracy theory but is fully-documented conspiracy fact. Gates Foundation-funded “fact checking” services label the sterilization vaccine campaigns “fake news.”

There are so many scandals and accounts of institutional greed in this book to list, but the gutsyist choice by RFK Jr. is to profile the courage of so-called “AIDS Dissidents” who have for decades tried to speak out against “AIDS, Incorporated” and flaws in foundational HIV/AIDS research. Between 1987 and 1995, a third of a million healthy gay men died when they were propagandized into taking a toxic chemotherapy called AZT in a protocol personally designed by Fauci. RFK Jr. makes it clear: these were not “AIDS” deaths — these men were poisoned. The LGBTQ community has a genocide it will not recognize, and it has come to love its pharmacidal oppressor while hating its true advocates. RFK, Jr. rightfully honors those who tried to stop it at great personal sacrifice — such as UC Berkeley Professor Peter Duesberg. The well-respected scientist might have been 3000% right about HIV and AZT, but he became a victim of Fauci’s “scientific cancel culture.” For those only familiar with the official history of AIDS, this book will be revelatory.

In September 2021, the New York Post ran a headline, “Anti-vax, conspiracy theorist is the dumbest Kennedy.” Read this book and find for yourself the voice of one of the smartest most perceptive and most human American leaders.
